ABSTRACT: This study investigated the Effects of Early Childhood Education on Family Planning Practices. The objectives of this study were to: (1) explore the influence of early childhood education (ECE) programs on family planning practices among parents, (2) investigate the educational strategies used in ECE settings to promote family planning awareness, and (3) determine the long-term effects of family planning education on family well-being. A survey research design was chosen to gather comprehensive data from parents and educators about their experiences with family planning education in ECE settings. A sample size of 150 participants, including parents and ECE educators, was selected using purposive sampling to ensure representation from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. The case study was conducted in early childhood education centers in Lagos State, Nigeria, known for their comprehensive family planning education initiatives. Findings indicated that ECE programs significantly increased parents' knowledge and adoption of family planning practices, leading to improved family health and well-being. It is recommended that early childhood education centers continue to integrate family planning education into their curricula and collaborate with healthcare providers to provide comprehensive support for families.
